Pages - Memory starts here for just a page, then picks up here, after she's done a bit offscreen, until the big exposition flashback starts. Skipping that, picking up here for another two pages.
- Memory starts as I'm discovering that a large floating sculpture of an egg is wobbling and disassembling in weird ways. This is really really not okay and it's because some idiots got a man sitting immobile in a chair drunk. Apparently he is the artist. I am so angry that they flee at the sight of me.
- Fixing the inebriation and making sure he's okay.
- Somebody is approaching to talk to me and I whip around and--send my anger into her, deliberately hurting her.
- She goes on this whole tirade about how I am cold and unloving and trying to hurt various people, and that I need to go back into the shadows where I belong.
- And I strike back by talking about some terrible secret, a matter of tainted blood, telling her that if she and her people do not leave I will reveal it, pressing her until she starts crying. Her Wolfrider friends are mortal and do not realize it--mortal elves! gah!--and became so by interbreeding with animals.
- But spied upon! A Wolfrider overheard all of this. Secret blown. Angry and desperate, I threaten his children.
- And he jumps me, blade at my throat, and I retaliate by blasting him with raw pain, body and spirit. I should be winning this, but he refuses to give in--
- The wolf blood is making him stronger, not weaker. All the WTF.
- Leetah dashes in to heal his pain and talk him into letting me live. Letting me! He could not have defeated me! Bitter pride.
- Oh, it's one of the pixie things from my first memory--and I'm raging at it. And it half-wraps me in webbing. Ewwwwwwwww.
- Memory ends as I slink off.
